Copyright and licensing
Unless otherwise stated in a journal’s instructions, authors retain copyright and grant AcadPress a license to publish and distribute the Version of Record under an open license such as CC BY 4.0.
Society-owned titles may assign copyright to the society; authors will be prompted to accept the correct agreement at acceptance.
Third-party content
Figures, tables, or extended excerpts from third parties require documented permission. The author is responsible for clearing rights prior to publication.
