Author guidelines

Formatting, references, figures, declarations, and supporting information—aligned with COPE, ICMJE, and CrossRef best practice summaries.

Manuscript types

Original research, brief reports, reviews, protocols, and editorials are accepted where the target journal explicitly lists them. Consult the journal’s aims & scope page before submission.

Formatting

Use double-spaced line spacing, continuous line numbering, and editable source files (e.g., DOCX or LaTeX) per journal instructions. Provide high-resolution figures separately when requested.

Follow Vancouver or APA reference styles as mandated by the journal; reference managers should export tagged fields to reduce metadata errors.

Ethics & reporting

Register clinical trials in a WHO-approved registry, report CONSORT/STROBE/ARRIVE extensions where applicable, and include ethics approvals or waivers for human and animal research.

Declare funding, conflicts of interest, and contributorship (CRediT taxonomy) in structured forms at submission.
